Here's What We Do Better
BIM – BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING
Nowadays structural engineers make plans in 3 dimensions. In most cases, only 2D blueprints are available about the site of the investment. In the case of reconstruction it is of particular importance for designers to have an accurate 3D model. By using point cloud-based modeling it is possible to provide an accurate picture of the current state of the site by generating BIM/surface models.
2D STATUS REVIEW DOCUMENTATION
Technical documentation in scale produced by laser scanning can be compiled regarding the current state. Layouts, floor plans, sections and facades can be mapped anywhere from the point cloud.
By transforming the point clouds into an EOV coordinate system, an accurate geodetic survey can be performed for a given area. During the laser scanning survey the state of the vegetation and exact dimensions can be determined.
VIRTUAL REALITY / VFX SUPPORT
High-precision, high-resolution surveys can be used to accurately digitize film shooting locations in order to preset camera and light settings. Using virtual mesh models based on point cloud 360 degree videos can be recorded. By using an internet browser there is virtual access to the surveyed area.
DOCUMENTATION ON IMPLEMENTATION
During execution unexpected problems may arise which can modify the implementation plans. By having an accurate 3D documentation it can be guaranteed to get an accurate picture of the implementation of the covered structures. By anticipating the subsequent renovation and maintenance work an accurate documentation is available on the status of implementation.
